YourCallCannotBeConnected: There's a reason you see these on sizable construction projects. They are a serious working tool for people who need serious head protection.

Very lightweight. Very comfortable, although I may try a different Fast Trac suspension just to get a bit lower of a fit on my head.

Be aware, though, that the natural tan/brown has a slight bulls-eye sort of effect where it's dipped or died or whatever coloring process is. And this slight bullseye effect is most often not centered on top of the hat. It irritated me at first, but you don't wear a hard hat for a fashion statement, and after a few scuffs or stickers, you seriously don't even notice it.

A+ from MSA. I tried the Dax Lift carbon fiber helmet and it was so stinking small I sent it back. MSA offers sized helmets, which means they're serious about proper fit and safety.

Who's asking?: If you need a hard hat, this is the only one to buy. It's light weight and comfortable. Lucky enough not to know it's structural capability (fingers crossed it will work good) The colour is brown and " unfinished " which is fine with me because I work construction and not at a fashion show. Cough ! Other reviewers ! Cough !

SB: It is comfortable the edge of the helmet really isn’t finished properly. It had a few chips in it after day two. My last helmet was the rough neck by Honeywell. It was three times as cheap and I wore that daily for 5 years. I wanted one that I never see anyone wear and this is it.....$$. I think $40-50 cheaper than I payed would be reasonable for the product. The MSA helmet is double the price it should be!!

Tyson S.: The lightest helmet I could find that has a decent suspension system that will lock it securely on my head. I work at heights so it's gotta be on there!! Also my neck has been injured/ herniated disc so it's gotta be light. Worth the money in my opinion:

Some guys will order the Large suspension to lower where the medium sized helmet sits on your head a bit but it may violate work safety codes.
