Amy R: I was so happy to be able to buy this again after they stopped selling it in my local stores. I actually use it as a taco seasoning insteadof quacamole seasoning and it makes a very nice, fresh tasting taco meat.

RM: I am the one inquiring about the expiration date. I emailed the company, gave them the code on the side of the packages, B5042R04. They answered in the next hour:
"Thank you for contacting Kent Precision Foods Group and choosing Mrs. Wages® Guacamole Seasoning-1 Oz.
On the side of every Mrs. Wages® pouch is an 8 digit code that you can use to determine when the product was produced. You will find it stamped into the side seam of the packet, for example B4181A23. The B identifies the facility that produced the mix. The number, which follows, represents the last digit of the year the mix was produced, e.g., a 4 would indicate 2014. The next three numbers, indicate which day out of 365 days in the year, the mix was produced. So if the number is 181, it means the product was mixed on June 29th as this is the 181st day of the year. The final 3 digits are used to indicate the manufacturing batch code. For optimal performance, use Mrs. Wages® mixes within 24 months of the day and year produced.
Your product was produce the 42nd day of 2015 (February 11th), expiration date is February 11, 2017."
