Angel: I am glad I chose this machine. I had been looking at the Phillips brand fully automatic for about a $1000. I decided against that after leading some reviews. It felt like some were saying that they were having complications or problems. And nobody wants to spend a $1000 and worry about that. So I decided let's get a machine that if something did go wrong or stopped working it wouldn't be a big deal. It was 200 bucks. Well. This thing has definitely put an impression on me. The coffee is very good plenty of flavor, and the froth is phenomenal. I really just can't say anything bad about this machine. The automatic frothing I absolutely love. This machine makes a real thick and creamy froth. You can choose to manually add more of the espresso or froth to top off if needed. I always do a double shot. Everyone loves how everything tastes. It really extracts all the flavor from the grinder beans. I just have to say I highly recommend this machine. The only thing you gotta do is grind your coffee and I recommend Orgainic Coffee Beans once you use it you'll will never go back to regular toxic coffee beans.

Marco: I've tried the new version which in my opinion looks better but has several flaws. The new version has less clearance and does not fit most coffee cups. It's the milk frother that doesn't tilt up as much as the other version.
Vibration. Maybe I had a bad unit but the newer version vibrates a lot more. So much so that it almost vibrates the cup off the try.
All in all these units are very user friendly and I do recommend them. Saves you lot's of money by not going to a coffee shop twice per day.

Felicia: I did a lot of researching before purchasing this coffee machine and I have not regretted my decision yet. It’s definitely a good product and we enjoyed great coffee every single morning for the past 2 weeks.
It’s a little loud when using the milk froth (but that seems to be something common for coffee machines) and it’s quite fast. Plenty of coffee options with it, and very easy to use. Machine is not too heavy.

Raedwulf: Some context. Started with and cut my teeth on a Gaggia Classic years ago. Still have it. Did various stovetop espresso thingies too, my missus did a variety of pour overs other thingies, and 2 years ago sprang for a Gaggia Brera.

So, ok. Definitely learned all along the way. Had hoped the Gaggia Brera would be a nice semi auto experience. It kind of was, until it wasn’t. It just dwindled into unusable pretty quickly. We both found ourselves becoming disinterested in the espresso experience. Wasn’t keen on going to another machine, preferring a hand press espresso, but thought why not give another espresso maker a go, mainly for my missus.

Enter Mr Coffee.

From the start, it has been GREAT. It took one test drive double shot to then redial to a successful grind. And have to say, I am impressed. Of all my experiences with various machines, Mr Coffee produces the most crema hands down. Began with some older beans just to get started and by crackie, Mr Coffee extracted some very nice flavor and crema from the very first.

Steve Harris: We wanted a unit that made both espresso and cappuccino but didn’t cost $1000 or more. This one fit the bill for ease of use and cost. Wish more of the parts were not light-weight plastic but it works well so far. Just need to get the coffee grind to the right consistency now. Recommend for a first-time unit.

shannon johnson: I've been happy with this machine. It has entirely replaced my need to buy lattes and such from Starbucks or other coffee shops. It's easy to set up, clean, learn, and work. You have the option of making lattes, cappuccinos, or espressos. But there's also a manual espresso and manual frother button, so you can adjust the defaults.

As a lot of reviews have said, a double cappuccino doesn't make much coffee. It seems to make about one measuring cup of coffee. But then you can adjust it by adding more with the manual buttons, or just double it. It turns out this lets you make some key adjustments mid-way through your coffee making. Here's what I do. I click the double cappuccino button to make the first amount, then swap out the coffee grounds with new coffee to make the second dose. I hold down the manual espresso button and manual frother button until I get the amount I want. The result is much richer, stronger, more flavorful coffee. If it doesn't taste just how you want it, just press the manual buttons for more coffee or more milk as desired.

I like being able to adjust exactly how much milk, froth, espresso, etc. I want. This is why I haven't returned to coffee...
