K. M. BatscheK. M. Batsche: Sadly we cracked the carafe for our Kitchenaid coffee carafe while washing it. The replacement was sold out online at the time (was back in stock on Black Friday for those looking currently), so we needed something to fit the spiral drip feature! Model number is KCM1209, but would also work for KCM1208.
Can’t beat a carafe that’s available/in-stock and on prime.
No issues as it does its job/holds coffee successfully. The top/handle are movable, so make sure you slide back after washing it so it is re-centered when pouring. Only thing I don’t care for is the branding on the side, but doesn’t effect performance and a brand has to make their mark somewhere.

Steven M. Wadle: I was pleased that this replacement caraffe worked as advertised with the Mr Coffee coffee maker. It is identical to the one that came with the coffee maker. These caraffe's are pretty fragile so you need to be gentle with them, but it is doing the trick. good deal
