Daisy: I love the way this coffee maker looks on my counter. The coffee nice and hot in the carafe, and the water heats up quickly so you don’t have to wait long for your cup of coffee. I like that it has two settings for brew strong (regular and strong), as well as a delayed brew setting so you can have the coffee ready when you walk into the kitchen in the morning.

Debra V.: Love the SS carafe. It maintains the heat of the coffee but not hot on the exterior. Easy to use, love the filtering system too. This coffee pot is at a good price point and delivers on the features. I also like the side water basin as it makes it easy to fill without having to pull out the maker from under the upper cabinet to add water like its competition.

Therese B.Therese B.: I searched for quite a while for a coffee maker with a removable water reservoir that could be thoroughly and easily washed. I also wanted a thermal carafe. This coffee maker has both features. I have my coffee maker under my cabinet, so being able to remove the water reservoir and the basket for the coffee grounds without pulling the whole thing forward is a huge bonus! The settings are easy to navigate. It has a timer that tells you how long the coffee has been made, and it has auto shut off after 2 hours. My coffee has stayed hot for over 2 hours in the thermal carafe. It does not have a heat element under the carafe, so the coffee does not get a burned flavor. The carafe pours well without spilling or leaking. All in all, this coffee pot is an exceptionally great find!!

One month update: this is the best coffee makers I’ve ever had, and I’ve had lots of coffee makers! I love everything about it!! The best part is being able to clean each part separately. There’s no mildew or slime build up because you can remove the water reservoir, wash it and let it dry before reusing it. The coffee stays hot for at least 3 hours after it is brewed. Cheryl Watson: The gasket on the carafe lid deteriorated, I made a silicone replacement, but that only lasted 6 months, after 5 days of 1/2 my coffee on the counter and floor I gave up. Would be nice if you could get replacement gaskets.

Hugh Campbell: Very nice coffee maker. It runs extra hot (205 degrees!) very quickly. The coffee maker turns off the "hot plate" after two hours but the carafe is so well designed the coffee will still stay hot the next day!
My only disappointments are - first it's kinda pricey for a coffee maker - I'd be OK with it if it held up better.
After about five years (because it runs extra hot I guess) it will begin leaking not from the reservoir but from the brewing section (it leaks cold water though) - Mr Coffee knows about this but it will be out of warranty for a couple of years before it needs replacement (I guess it's worth it).It angers me that Mr Coffee is very well aware of this defective design though - but since I've never had as good a coffee maker as this one before I'm spoiled so this is my replacement for the exact same one I bought about five years ago.

Verónica MtzVerónica Mtz: El costo vs calidad ummm ... otras opciones a mi parecer son de mejor calidad, no termina de convencerme que la base donde asienta la jarra es plástico muy frágil, se agradecía si por lo menos pusieran "gomas" por la parte baja para evitar el molesto rechinar cuando jalas el aparato para limpiar... La capacidadal límite te rinde para 4 casi 5 tazas de 350 ML. Por lo tanto se queda corta... Lo que si es que hace el café súper rápido un punto a favor a comparación de otras cafeteras de sistema de goteo.

No volveriaa comprar otra igual.. buscaría un modelo más robusto con mejores acabados.

Si la compras ten en cuenta que no cuenta con filtro permanente (se adquiere por separado), tienes que usar de papel y adquirir filtros especiales antical para recambio cada me...

Larry: Bought this 5 years ago. ($79.00 in 2017). Best coffee maker I have ever owned. I can still brew a full pot in the evening and it remains piping hot in the morning and since it has not been on a burner overnight, the flavor is still great. Full pot stays hot (not warm......hot) for 10+ hours. A half pot stays hot for 4+ hours. A quarter pot stays hot for 1-2hours. The removable water reservoir is great. I can't imagine going back to the days of having to pour water into a built in reservoir.

Everything still works after an estimated 3,000 pots of coffee made over 5 years. The flimsy lid to the reservoir broke when it fell to the ground in 2018. Black duct tape fixed it and it has been good since. The rubber seal around the coffe pot lid wore out after a few years. I substituted with an elastic band and it works fine. I have never used the timer feature. The only technical flaw is that the counter used to indicate when you should run a cleaning cycle resets if you unplug the unit, I just run a cleaining cycle once a month instead.

5 days before my manfacturer warranty was up water started leaking out the BOTTOM of the coffee maker. I made sure that I set it up right and did some double checks. Turns out that as soon as the reservoir was placed on the coffee maker, the water was leaking out the bottom.

I called Mr. Coffee only to find out that I was sold 2016 July’s model in 2017 January. I was told to email customer service with my order and that I couldn’t be helped over the phone for that reason. So I did, and I got an email stating I would get a reply in 3 days. It has been 7 days, my warranty is now out, and I didn’t have a coffee maker.

Since I once loved this one so much I grabbed another one from Target. 2nd brew it blew coffee grounds ALL over the place. I did everything the same way I used to, with the same coffee and this was the result. I tried 3 more times with the same results. I’m returning the new one as defective and Mr. Coffee won’t be seeing any more of me. I have had plenty of $20 coffee makers that worked better and longer.
