MRB: This freeze dried chicken is quite tasty and very hiker/backpacker friendly. It's light, easy to cook and has a great texture. In a pinch, it's even cold soak friendly but it does take about 1 hour. (3-4 minutes in the microwave) This is a great way to add some variety to your meals at home too without much hassle.

RonRon: This was my experience with a purchase made on Prime Day October 10, 2023. I purchased 3 cans for long-term storage. I paid $34.80 each.
One can had a dent, so I opened it for eating and the vacuum seal was still strong. The other two cans were dent free. The best by date was December 2052 so they were nearly a year old.
This can was almost full of diced chicken and there was very little dust in the bottom. After hydrating, the chunks are a little larger. It took about 10 minutes to fully hydrate and the chicken was delicious. The uses for this product are limited only by your imagination.
This product should last for 30 years if stored in a cool dry place. I gave a 5.0 for this purchase but would give a 4.8 due to the dent and being produced almost a year ago. I got what I paid for.
