Chef JChef J: Got these pedals today and installed immediately! Upgrading a Schwinn that was given to me. Replaced the cheap nylon pedals that came with the bike. Love the color selection but more importantly love the solid platform and positive grip you get from these pedals. Would definitely recommend!

Davecit artifex: Although the platforms could be a little closer to the crank bosses, they are nice and big, pins are grippy, bearings spin really smooth, and the spindle housing doesnt stick up too far, you can feel it but it's better than others i've tried. The only thing I'm skeptical about is the thin material at the outside ends , for BMX-style street riding where pedals hit the ground often and get used as a grinding surface, I don't think they will last long under heavy abuse. Other than that, I'm still pretty impressed with the overall quality of the pedals.

update: after a week of using these I noticed they started to feel loose on the spindles when I went to investigate I noticed one of the dust caps was missing completely and the other was 3 turns from a similar fate. I had a few spare pedals laying around and found a dust cap that fit the threads, but the pedal was still loose, Then I realized there is a spacer that the cap must press against so I tore apart another spare pedal to find a spacer that would fit, and the pedal works fine now. I suggest applying blue locktite on the dust caps to prevent losing the cap and spacer, that without the right combination...

C. Gaston: I really like these pedals and they look awesome on my bike. Nice big platform, not too heavy. Nice design. Good amount of grip to my shoes but not too much - I really can't think of any way to improve them. I might have 100 miles on'm now, will update if I run into any problems.
The only issue worth mentioning is that I installed them right out of the box with nothing on the threads. Almost immediately I heard a clicking sound with each revolution of the pedals. I asked a friend at a bike shop about it and he said I needed to put a little grease on the threads and between the pedal and crank mating surface. I did as he said and the clicking disappeared.
