This flavor Matt's has been hard to find locally. I started buying the cups and the price has escalated so I tried a case. The price is comparable to the grocery store price or less and I don't have to worry about running out. This is the flavor applesauce I grew up on and it never fails to disappoint.

I like Mott’s applesauce to use for a couple of baking items I make. One is an easy fruitcake that is more like a spice cake & has no citron or liquor in it - just candied cherries, pineapple, nuts & applesauce (sliced thin & good with a smear of cream cheese). The other is an applesauce-raisin spice bar with a texture like a cake style brownie. Mott’s is perfect because the sauce is not too sweet for these two baked treats and I’ve never had a baking failure using this brand.

Item photo shows 12 x 24oz jars of sauce. I did think it was too good to be true, and guess what? It was. Only one arrived. Returned for a refund - I notice the item has now been removed from sale so I assume more than one person has been scammed by these folks.

How can they NOT have an equivalent to simple plain delicious apple sauce here in the UK??? I get a craving a couple of times a year for my American-style apple sauce. So it's well worth it to me.
