Murray: I really thought this stuff was going to be incredible after reading the reviews. Don't get me wrong, the taste is great! It's just the fact that there's chunks of stuff in the apple sauce. I ordered the cherry one and it's incredible if I pick out the cherries and just eat them alone lol. The apple chunks are tart and tangy which is good at first but after a few bites it taste like they were soaked in citrix acid instead of just being a tangy granny smith which was really starting to upset my stomach. All together it has a taste that's pretty artificial but it's ok. If you're the type of person who doesn't like your food to touch or mix then I wouldn't recommend this 😂. It honestly made my OCD go out of control but I liked picking out the cherries and just eating those lol.

Marvin Herreid: Order arrived on time. 1 of six jars broken in transit. This sauce has good flavor and texture is consistent in each jar.. Unfortunately red coloring is used to enhance appearance so dropped to 4 stars.

Momma Knows Best: It’s a bit sweeter than what I was buying before but the touch of cherries was a great flavor. Also liked the chunkier consistantcy.

Lady Bitington: For some reason, chunky applesauce is hard to find in my area. Most stores aren't carrying it, or if they are, it's always sold out. I'm not sure if it's not popular or what--what is wrong with the Chunk, people? Something to bite into when you're having your 'sauce? Anyway, the only kind I've been able to find lately is this product, Indian Summer.
This stuff is seriously amazing. It has nice, big chunks of tasty apple. The company makes other flavors, but this one, the Cherry Applesauce, is fantastic. There are whole cherries in here, perfectly sweet-tart cherries. The balance of flavors really elevates applesauce to something beyond the mushy gruel-like experience of regular applesauce.
I'm not sure if Amazon has all the flavors, but they also make Plain Chunky, Strawberry Applesauce, Blueberry Applesauce, and Peach Applesauce. I've only tried this cherry, the strawberry, and the plain, but I've really liked each one. The fruit-added varieties don't just have a hint of the fruit flavor; they have big chunks of the fruit and enough flavor that it really adds to the taste and consistency.
This is a little on the sweet side, which I like but I know not...
