D. Kelly: 2008 GMC Sierra Extended Cab (6’ 6” Bed) with no bed liner. The fit is perfect; however, I did have to install 2 of the included “z brackets” near the tailgate because the bed stake pockets prevent the rear latches from clamping to the bed. This is easy enough to do if you are willing to drill the necessary holes in your bed. Also, my pickup has a thick, flat tailgate protector that causes the tailgate to be slightly taller than the sides of the bed. This makes the tailgate hard to close without prying up a bit in the center of the tonneau cover. I’ll probably end up attaching some narrow plastic strips around the top of the bed to even things out. Overall I really like the product.

Arcticwolf: So this would have been alot easier of an install with a second pair of hands & no bed liner..I needed to cut a notch into the liner for the latch levers to catch easier onto the undersides of the truck bed rails..fyi - you'll need to drill into the bed rails for the rear latch catch plates..I didn't know this & nobody mentioned..I'm just putting it out there cause I was caught of guard & wasn't prepped for it especially tackling this project by myself
Con: 1) having to self-tap the rear latch plates onto the bed rails (minor con)
2) when I latch the rear levers the rear tonneau rail seems to bow downward which
makes it hard to close the tailgate..I do not know if this is a temporary issue or not..
Guess we'll see come springtime since I just installed this during these warm Dec
days we had

So I would recommend this quad fold tonneau..they opened up nicely..they open up a little more than a tri fold does. I also recommend dousing the cover with a vinyl uv protection spray..the rain just beads off the cover like RainX.
