RobertRobert: I had cabinets that were installed in the 60s and decided to convert them into shaker cabinet doors. Doing this required me to change the hinges. Because my cabinet doors are inset it took me a bit to find the correct hinges that would work. Home Depot carries these type but did not have them in stock, and wanted a bit more than what this product was going for.

I decided to purchase these, and have to say going from a hinge that was original to the installation to a self closing door made life in the kitchen so much better. I am happy with how these turned out. Very nice looking, and really pops against the white cabinet.

Debra Victor: I painted my 20 year old dark oak cabinets an updated beautiful grey. The original hardware was brass so I switched it all out with brushed nickel. The hinges are the exact same size but the interior screw holes (3 on each hinge) do not line up from the old ones. So I had to drill all new holes. They give you two lengths of screws which is nice. The shorter ones are for attaching the hinges to the backs of the cabinets. The longer ones go into the holes which attach the hinge to the cabinet frame. They look beautiful and are a great quality for such little money.

This is the second time I have ordered these hinges and they are a big improvement over the old rusty brass hinges that use to support the kitchen cabinet doors. In combination with matching brushed nickel handles, these hinge give the new cabinet doors an fresh look. The quality is very good. The mounting hole pattern match perfectly with the old previous brass hinges. I am very happy with the product and will re-order again when my hinge supplies are low once again.

Leonard A. Kirchner: These Hinges arrived on time and I was expecting they would be cheapish with screws made out of aluminum as many of the reviewers have anguished over. The hinges were residential quality and even heavier than a set I had purchased from Wal-Mart. I have 8 foot cabinet doors so I did not want flimsy hinges. The self-closing springs worked very well also. The screws...had zero issue. I am guessing that others have tried to install these into hardwood without proper pilot holes, because they went into the pine with no problems at all. I doubt they upgraded the screws since each set was wrapped separately. Glad the negative views did not keep me from buying these.

apete52: For the price and quality, a great buy. Some other reviews said that they were squeaky but I installed 4 cabinet doors and none did. I did have some issues with the hinge moving a bit when I screwed onto the overall frame. Basically as it was flattened against the cabinet frame, it moved the door about 1/16th of an inch inward. Not a big deal after the first door, as I just accounted for this, but something to consider when installing. All in all, would definitely buy again if doing more cabinets.
