Purchased this specifically for gutting/cleaning small fish (ie perch). Is the perfect size for the job, extremely sharp, excellent rubberized-type grip.
Only downside is that blade is not overly flexible. Filleting can be done but needs to be done more carefully.
If knife fails, for whatever reason, review will be updated.

oldgeneral: These are great. Looked at a ton of similarly priced knives. Bought 5 of them similar to this same time after lots of research. This outperformed the rest. If you want a small flexible blade filet knife and don’t mind not having the tiny tapered tip these are great. If you want the more acutely angled tip there is another morakniv filet knife that will suit you. I like all three of the morakniv filet knives I’ve ended up with.

Paul: It's sharp. Clips onto my wader belt. Good for carrying out on the river.

Jason B: I originally bought this knife as a fillet knife. After I purchases it I ended up buying a leech lake fillet knife, needless to say I never actually used it to fillet fish. My wife confiscated it and started using it as a general kitchen knife and it is by far her favorite. She now wants me to purchase another one so she has two. Great product, great knife I highly recommend.

Y además me costó $200. No ha perdido filo desde que lo compre.

Andrea: My mother suffers from arthritis in her hands/fingers and she is an avid collector of cheap, crappy kitchen knives, esp. the kind with slim hard-plastic handles, aka the worst kind for someone with arthritis. This was my attempt at an intervention, a solid all-purpose knife with a comfortable, thicker, slightly rubbery handle. She seems to really like it! She said it's very sharp and good for daily slicing and dicing of veggies, fruit, herbs and also raw meat. Not that she's thrown away any of her prized crappy knives...

Edward Greff:
I bought this knife to take along on my trout fishing trips to Colorado. The carry laws in that state limit knives to blades of 3.5 inches and this knife fits the bill. You can wear it on your belt and forget it and not worry about taking it off because you are in the local town buying supplies.
For years the knives I have kept in my kitchen are Rada. I have used them for one important reason - they are razor sharp and super easy to maintain that way. These Morakniv knives give them a run for their money.
Continued comment: I use this knife in my kitchen on a daily basis. It is the pairing knife I reach for every time. The blade shape is great for multiple tasks and it has the best handle of any other knife I use to cook.

Sunliner Vet: I love this knife! It has a short thin blade that comes with a sharp edge, sharpens well, and holds an edge. I find it easier to use in tight places than a longer fillet knife when deboning chicken or anywhere maneuvering the blade is required. Very good knife at a good price!
