Areas de mejora: El interruptor de encendido se debe presionar todo el tiempo para que el motor trabaje, preferiría un switch que me permitiera tener las 2 manos libres.
La clavija no esta polarizada, por lo cual la electricidad estática que se genera por la fricción no tiene dónde descargarse.

Rabbi Goldstein: This appears to be well made, with a sturdy motor and a stable base. When looking at the pictures of the shiny shoes in the advertisement for this product, to my ignorance, I assumed all I would need is by this machine and would end up with shiny shoes. However, that is not the case.I soon learned that there is a science for shining shoes, and it must start with manually applying wax, letting that wax dry thoroughly, then using a horse brush to manually ( by hand, not with the machine like this buffer-only) produce the first polish and shiny appearance. I suggest you do a Youtube search for "how to polish shoes".That's what I did then I followed instructions as I have just described. I found the in the case of my Western cowboy boots, simply using the wax, allowing it to dry overnight, then giving to a three minutes manual brushing with my horse head brush (also available on Amazon here) produced an outstanding shine that was more than satisfactory. The buffing process with this machine, made almost 0 change in the appearance of shininess. And it is not possible to remove scuffs (that must certainly be removed first) just by using this electric buffing machine. So this was an...

J in L.A.J in L.A.: Wow! Do I love this, or what? If you are a shoe shine fanatic like I am, you need this. This machine is perfect for putting that final shine on your shoes. First step--brush all the loose stuff off your shoes. Put on a coat of polish. Brush it out manually with a standard shoe shine brush. Do another coat for good luck. Brush again. Then polish with this. PERFECT!

Although the manufacturer does not recommend doing it, if you don't want to wear the shoes when you polish them, you can put this on a table, hold the shoe with one hand, and press the button using one hand. You can put a much better shine on them that way, because you can get the backs and sides better.

If you do that, be sure to tuck the laces inside the shoes or remove them, because otherwise, they can get caught up in the polisher.

Bross: My unfavorable revew relates to the quality of the buffs. The replacements are expensive, and I found myself needing to deal with the buffs 10 months after purchase. I probably used the buffer no more than 10 times.

When I was looking for an electric polisher, I was originally looking for a top of the line buffer ( at least from what I could determine). However, the reviews on the Moneysworth shoe polisher expressed a comfortable degree of satisfaction. I decided, that with my relatively likely low usage, the Moneysworth polisher seemed like a good fit. As far as the electric polisher, itself, it seems to have reasonable power and turns on.

The buffers are slipped over the cones, and secured by by an elastic strap sewn to each side of the buff and placed over the cone. The strap came apart from one buff on one side. It seemed like a pretty weak attachment, given the cost of replacement. The elastic strap, on the other other side of the "fallen" buffer had very stretched stitching, as did the straps on the other buffer (which had not yet become detached) but seemed on its last couple of stitches.

Bill Bablovskiy: I love it. I depend on it and use it every day. I think it is perfect. I have been wearing dress shoes to the office every day of my life for longer that it is any of your business. I wore out a couple of this machines in the past. This is the best I had. It is obviously a Chinese knockoff of that famous insanely expensive brand they use at fancy hotels. It is less shiny, but otherwise works just as well. It is just as powerful and strong. A couple of reviewers commented that the motor was not strong enough. I disagree. You would have to press your shoe very hard against the buffer to stop this motor. If you apply that much pressure you would be taking all the wax off your shoe and possibly damaging the shoe. It is not necessary for the motor to be any stronger, and I would not like it. The bonnets appear to be made from a genuine lambskin, no kidding. They do not shed, they hold their shape and, most important, they do not fly off the machine even when you press too hard. This is not just a "good value", this is an excellent product. I am happy I bought it.
