JennW33: I bought this because I can never find compression socks that fit - either they are too tight and I can't pull the sock over my foot or the band at the top is too tight. My doctor introduced me to TubiGrip. You get a 10+ yard roll of fabric. The fabric is a knit tube. I already measured the circumference of my ankle and calf so I knew which size to buy. Once I received the package, I measured the length of my calf, ankle and foot where I needed compression (about 20"). I measured the length I needed, doubled it, and then cut the material. I pulled one edge down until I had a double layer of fabric and then slid that over my foot, ankle and calf. This size material is snug. Check Tubigrip sizing guides for circumference and amount of compression - low, medium or high.
