JustinJustin: Amazing product, bought one to see how it was and ended up buying 2 more. The brackets are decent and hold up to the abuse. I have one in the garage and one inside and actually stained the wood, added hooks, a shelf etc. You’ll end up paying more for 2x4s than the brackets if you buy new wood. Possibilities and sizes are endless making this a good product for a specific area of your choice. Very cool idea to be able to customize your own rack to your liking. 10x better than any cheap metal racks on here, use treated wood, drill extra holes in the metal and add more screws for support if you make the rack larger, comes with I think 3” sheet rock screws to hold it together so feel free to substitute those with something stronger, but they are holding up my larger rack just fine. Great product for indoors or outdoors.

jared kayjared kay: We bought 5 of these wood rack kits because I was sick and tired of replacing the rotted pallets that we used to stack wood on. HOLY MOLEY - I wish I would have done this years ago! 4 of the kits we're using at our house and 1 went up to my parents camp because they just had a pile of decomposing nonsense for firewood. These are constructed of sturdy steel with some pretty dang good welds (if I do say so myself)! They are very rugged and assemble easily. I used 16-foot pressure-treated 2x4's because I wanted each rack to hold one whole cord of wood. I put them on leveled concrete block bases so they would be nice and stabile. The powder-coated surface looks evenly applied for years of use. Racks 2 and 3 - I connected together with an air gap in between for faster drying. I wish I would have done this at first, so when rack 1 is empty, I'm going to do the same with 1 and 4. The camp rack is tiny... which is the beauty of these rack kits - You can make them whatever size you like!! They all got a cute little metal roof to help keep the elements off the wood. Great product! We're going to buy some more soon!

Sal C: I have ordered 3 of these and have been very pleased with the completeness of the packaging and have never had any missing parts. The unit is sturdy and stable once assembled. I have been using 8ft 2x4's and it works great.

Eddie: Great product and well made. When I first saw these, I priced out what it would cost me to weld them together in my shop. I decided to buy them, much cheaper! I read some complaints of the 2X4's fitting loosely or too tight. If using treated lumber that is not dry, they may take a little persuasion getting them to fit. With dry wood, they fit smoothly. As far as some people using shims to tighten them up. It's a personal preference. There is not that much slop. When it's full of wood it's not going to affect much. I would recommend not going over 4' tall with wood. These things get a little unstable going any higher. I bought 2 sets to see how they would go and bought 2 more after I saw how well they worked out.

Guy Diamond: Reading other reviews I believed you would still fit UK 2x4s (47x100mm). However they definitely do not. The dimensions in the picture are right so I don’t blame the seller, only the other reviewers who said they would fit!

dave bundy: I just built it but I love how heavy the steel is on this item. Very sturdy and with an electric drill/screw driver it is a piece of cake to put together. The cross braces seem a bit too long but they work which makes for a very sturdy product
