My old sprayer was leaking at the base of the female fitting attaching to the spray handle. Like another reviewer, I wasted time and gas shopping local and big box hardware stores. Went to Amazon and found this product. I did not know my brand of faucet and took a chance with this. The male end of the faucet handle was 3/8 inch and this fit perfectly. There are videos online if you are unsure how to do it but its an easy do it yourself job with a pair of pliers. Save your tube weight, this did not come with one. I am very happy with the product and Amazon delivered in less than 48 hours.

Seems a bit less hefty than the original, but we’ll see. Didn’t bother inspecting the differences much between this and the factory part, as the old one failed just before Thanksgiving and it was a pretty hellish holiday prep with the busted hose connector spewing all over. I was all set to replace the whole dang faucet (Moen Banbury 87017W) when I wondered, “Hmm...can I get this any faster than Moen will get it to me on a holiday weekend?” Sure enough: Amazon to the rescue. I chose this seller because they had a good “schpiel” about their quality and warranty, and it was low-to-mid-range in price. It got here Saturday morning, installed in a snap, and life is good again. Faucet was about 5 or 6 years old, so if I can get another 5-or-so-year run for under 15 bucks, I’ll be a happy camper. Time to hit the kitchen and make some lunch without the major headaches of the past few days. If things go haywire with this thing sooner than hoped for, I’ll let you know.
