Rachel PaulRachel Paul: I wanted to get into embroidery and thought this would be a good start. The package was great and the embroidery was good aside from my own mistakes. I also changed a couple colors and designs around. However, after some research, I learned that these are stolen designs which bums me out.

KWhitt: I really like this set! I’m new to embroidery and the knots are easy to follow. The string length needed for each segment is a little unclear but I’ve been figuring it out by practice and learning.

Velvet MarmosetVelvet Marmoset: Easy for a total beginner like me. It had everything I needed except scissors. It did help to look at a few online tutorials on starting and finishing ends, and get a bit more detail on a few stitches. The green background is a little different than pictured — more of an olive green that offers little to no co trays to some of the stems, but it’s my favorite color so I didn’t mind. I’m not sure the floss is as high quality as some name brands, but I haven’t directly compared it, so it could be. I just know the light green tended to fuzz out a bit, but it’s still pretty. I used a different hoop than the one included, so that’s what you see in my photo.
