Googs: Pretty decent knives! They don't cut stuff like the old infomercial used to show, but they're still good! Nice and sharp. However the scissors that came with mine are total garbage! Don't know if that was a one-off or if they all suck, but my god I can't even cut a plastic bag with the scissors. Ah well.

Fosso: I waited over a year to write this review so I could evaluate these knives properly. Awesome knives for the money…some of the sharpest knives I have ever owned. No...No...No...The filet knife IS the sharpest knife I have ever owned. The filet knife really can cut ripe tomatoes paper thin. What a bargain...You cannot go wrong for the price. Great knife…great price…great company...great service...fast delivery. LOVE...LOVE...LOVE EM!!! There are some VERY MINOR quality issues which I happily overlook considering the value and price. These knives are still preforming well. Let's be realistic here people...this is an 11-piece cutlery set for $20...I know it is a TREMENDOUS VALUE and it's something I use every day. If you are a hater and a picker of nits...go and spend several hundred dollars and get the highest quality you can find and leave these knives alone.

D. Surine: After getting fed up with crappy knives and replacing individual knives, I decided to buy a whole new set. I love everything about my miracle balde knives. I cook regularly and use these knives everyday. I've had these knives for years and not one of has rust (to address some of the "cons" listed in other reviews). I don't put these in the dishwasher, but rather clean them after I'm done then wipe them dry with a towel. The all-purpose slicer would probably be my favorite. It cuts anything, is really sharp, and has never needed sharpening. The rock-n-chop is thick and strong and the curved blade is really great for mincing food.
I am a little sad that these are now being made in China, especially since they used to be American made. But nonetheless, I don't use any other knives ever. If these knives ever break, I'll probably just get another set.
UPDATE: After another full year of owning these knives, I felt I should "renew" my review and tell you that I'm still using these knives on a daily basis. Still no signs of rust because I'm still cleaning them off after using them and wiping them clean with a towel. The all-purpose slicer is still my favorite and it's still...

blakletter: The negatives- These knives are sharp as heck, and you do have to be careful with them. The logos are not put very well on the handles, and they do tend to fall off. And that's it.
Yes, that's right. The biggest problem with these knives are that they are RIDICULOUSLY sharp. Logos? Who cares? MAde in China? Yeah, so? *Really sharp* knives, flexible blades in a variety of shapes for multiple purposes, lifetime guarantee to replace if they go dull. What more could you want?
The first time I tried to cut a tomato with one of these things, the tomato screamed and fell apart into perfectly symmetrical slices.
So yeah. Good knives.

Derickson1: I bought these knives almost 10 years ago. At the time, my new bride and I didn't have much money. I do ALL the cooking, so I wanted a decent set and landed on these as they were cheap and had decent reviews. I planned to get rid of them in a year or two when they inevitably went bad.
Fast forward 9+ years. As of yesterday, I am now a single father of two awesome toddlers. In settling things up, their mother (I kid you not, she cooked less then 5 times in 9 years) wants "some knives", and these knives are on the figurative cutting board. Should be a pretty easy decision to give up an old $50 set of knives (I splurged and got the block with the set).. right?
I have spent thousands of hours with these darned dependable knives. They are still sharp, no rust and have required little to no maintenance<-(Annoying, because I could never justify getting a new set). However, at this point in my life it may seem silly, but the things that are dependable and honest and do what they promised they would...Well, these things hold a lot of value to me.
