David Anderson: I was worried at first about the quality of these knives because of their low price. When they came I was surprised to find the set was nearly as good as any name brand set I've ever used. They may not have quite the fit and polish but they are stoutly made and the blades seem to hold and take an edge just as well as the common name brand ones I'd been using. This is a general use set that would find good use in almost any type of shop be it woodworking, metal smithing or automotive. They would also be good for any type of general craft work. There is a nice assortment of blades and handles to cover just about any and all situations.

L.Taylor: very sharp blades.. there are different sizes of blades that fit the different handles so you have to make sure you have the right size in the right handle.. or they will move and you could cut yourself if you apply pressure with the wrong blade in the wrong handle. the large handle is comfortable .. i cut thick card board corrugated board with them.. very glad i chose this one for the price for my carton-age project

Dave: Great cheap set to add to your tool kit. Ideal for what I needed them for. Case is a little warped but getting a case that has a magnetic holder full of refill blades was a nice addition to some good blade handles. It closes and keeps it all sorted just fine. Could hold the blade's supplied a bit tighter but holds my current Xacto brand blades tight no issue. Might be just supplied blades are a bit thinner than standard.

John P.: This is a Best buy as it helped me cutting intricate design manually on a heat transfer vinyl. I loved the fact it comes with three exacto knife with different blades. I wasn't able to use all of them especially the square ones.

thelockdoc: Arrived on time. Two aluminum pencil blade holders and one with a plastic handle. I liked the Magnetic bar inside the lid that holds extra blades..and it comes with different styles of blades for different jobs..but all will cut. The box itself is plastic with a long rod hinge and the halves were warped a bit..had to fiddle and stretch to close(minor issue)...I used my heat gun gently on it to warm up the edges that close..and let them cool that way..works great now. I dont think theres anything special about the blades...but they come 'sharp'...and the holders are great for the price.

Danny: the blades were very sharp and well machined, as were the handles, however my biggest gripe is that, no matter how hard you tighten them, they come loose (ive had sets with plastic security sleeves that didnt do this, so im not sure why the metal ones on these knives come loose) i actually ended up injuring myself due to one of them loosening up and slicing my thumb. also, each handle comes with a knife blade pre-attached, however there are no spaces for them on the magnetic strip inside the case,while i appreciate the extra blades, having somewhere safe to secure them would have been great. all in all i would probably continue to purchase these if those few issues were fixed as its still a good set for the price.
