Peter Craig: This is a very good french press made of food grade stainless steel. I'm quite happy with the quality of the coffee it makes. I didn't detect any metallic taste. The filter on it is the standard, single, stainless steel screen. It came with 3 replacement screens, which is a nice touch. Like other french presses I've used, it leaves a little fine sediment (aka "sludge") in the bottom of the mug. Maybe that's caused by the way I grind the coffee. I don't have a fancy burr grinder.

The size is advertised as 20 oz. You can't actually make 20 oz of coffee with it. I think the maximum you could make without spilling coffee grounds out of the spout is about 18 oz. It's enough for my large morning mug of coffee.

What made me take off one star is that this press is not especially well insulated. It's clearly not vacuum insulated. It will keep coffee hot longer than a glass french press, but an hour later it's going to be cold. I'm ok with that. I just want to drink the first half very slowly and then pour the rest of it.

Amazon Customer: This French press makes great coffee however the stainless steel does dent rather easily so you need to be careful.
This press makes a little over 500 mL of coffee and not the 600 mL as stated.
It does keep the coffee warm so your second cup is just as enjoyable as your first.
I would recommend this product as I think the price is affordable.
