mike: i was misled by the add ...says it aluminum but onlr the head is :( the rest is steel...disapointed its not all aluminum as advertized......was looking for something that wont rust

P Shif: I needed a grease gun to change out the grease in the bearings of my travel trailer. I did not have any success with one I borrowed and took a chance on this one.

The instructions were very good. I loaded it with a cannister and did what it said to do. It worked with no issue. I easily connected this to the fittings and replaced the old grease. It secured tight and could be removed by just changing the angle as the instructions stated.

Whether this is a heavy duty gun to be used daily is questionable but for someone who only needs to use it once or twice a year it works great and is very inexpensive. I highly recommend as an amateur.

Rat River Steve: I am not a grease gun guy. I have purchased 3 grease guns at the local fleet farm store. They were the least expensive ones they had, but I only use a grease gun once in a while. I shouldn't need an expensive one. Plews? I think that is the brand. One broke. One worked so poorly that I threw it out. One I still have but I hate. Could be I don't know how to use them properly, BUT I am not an idiot and I do read directions when I don't know how a tool works.
This one seems to be built far better. It has directions that make reasonable sense. I didn't break my arm trying to get the plunger to stay open. All in all. If you are also not a grease gun guy, give this one a try. It works for me.
