Military Tactical Poncho for Army and Firefighting Use

Chuck Wood: This quickly delivered poncho was found to be as advertised and of good quality.
Although I didn't see this feature mentioned in the description, there is an internally attached waist cord that can be used to secure the poncho close to the body to prevent flapping in the wind.
The snap fasteners appear appropriate for fastening two ponchos together to form a larger tarp.
I like this poncho.

Amazin Customer: I often work outside as I am a plumber. Because of this, on occasion I do get rained on. I decided to give this "tacticool" poncho a try and I'm glad I did. Since purchasing this poncho I have used it several times in several different rain environments. In a flat out downpour I've stayed completely dry every time. Standing 6' flat the poncho covers my body quite well and I do appreciate the snaps on the sides allowing for a more custom fit. For me, that is a huge bonus in itself. At times the strings can be a little annoying, but that is more of a personal critique as I often times bend over/crouch/get into weird positions due to my job. They never hinder me from what I'm doing, I just don't always enjoy them dangling near my hands/getting into sewage infested trenches. I'm going to bet that this probably won't be an issue for you however unless you're another plumber.

If you're looking for a durable raincoat, give this a shot.

Nick & JessicaNick & Jessica: For $30-50, id say you're not going to get a better deal for durability and functionality and Quality. This worked very well for me while i was waiting in line for 2 days out of state at micro center for the RTX 3090 when it came out:)))

Also i saw a few 1 star reviews that said it smells really bad. i had zero smell. theirs might of just come out of the factory and haven't had time to vent off the chemicals. No reason to give it a 1 star but eh people get offended over everything and don't understand the real world. I currently have it in my Survival Pack. Its Perfect lightweight easy foldability and able to store it in a flat square in the bag it comes with makes it a perfect item for Go Bags/survival packs/bugout bug in.

Im someone who preps and i believe in longevity and quality and durability for products. If i had to depend on my gear to sustain and keep me alive or i need a pack that will last me a life time i dont want cheap crap that will fail on me in a month. This wont fail on you in a month, but you also need to take care of your gear.

Would i say this will last me a lifetime? NO but it definitely is strong and will serve its...

Nathan Jennings: My son and I used these on a recent backpacking trip in Virginia. We got hit with a massive thunderstorm and these ponchos worked great in keeping us and our gear dry. The rainproofing on my tent wasn't working so I used some cord to attach the poncho to the top of my tent as an additional rain fly. Versatile, useful, light weight, and packs down tiny. Great product.
