Jason Richardson: The way this bag sits on your hip, it is easily accessible, yet remarkably out of the way. Great for medical, ammo, or as replenishment supply bag. Multi-pocketed and sturdy.

Jessi Jenson: I'm actually not a carpenter or hunter or anything, I use it for my art supplies, to keep them close at hand while working on a project. It's been very useful for it! There's a good variety of pockets, inside and out, that make sorting things easy and lets me access things quickly from an organized area. The inner pockets are of the satin-y material that usually wears out after a while, fraying and stuff, which I'm not looking forward to. The clips are great, they're sturdy and strong, and the other fabrics are durable. The stitching is smooth, the straps good quality, and the zippers, though plastic, are also strong. I really like it!

Maerilo: I've got a lot of problems with my right shoulder to the point where my physical therapist forbade me from using backpacks. Since I'm a packrat even on the go and am enough of a Ren Faire nerd to have relied on hip/thigh pouches before, I searched around to see if there was a beefier option for me so I could replace my backpack for the time being. Enter drop satchels.
I'm obsessed with this thing. It's sleek and functional and has a zillion well-placed/sturdy/versatile pockets distributed all over it. The shape variety in those pockets is particularly nice in this design, because it would've been so easy to just put in a top zipper and a side zipper and force the wearer to cram differing items into the same 2-3 locations. This understands that you might want to separate things for ease of access, like a utility knife or pepper spray, a phone or mp3 player you don't want to scratch, bundled up kleenex you don't want all over everything else, and having so many small but different shaped pockets available really nerds the on-the-go risk of accidentally yanking everything out when trying to reach down to something else. The little cylindrical pouch perched on top is another...

Evan: I purchased this after I had another leg pouch disintegrate on me after about a month of actual use. This bag has far outshined the other one in a few key ways.
The material is FAR stronger and more resistant to everyday use, meaning I expect this to last for years of wear and tear. It doesn't get in the way very much when sitting down as long as the chair is wide enough, and it has enough space for everything I need. I don't use the drink pouch as I find it's too loose, being held up by that clip on the front side.
Good Design:
-I love the location of the pockets and the smooth use of the zippers.
-The top pocket is the perfect size for pens, pencils, and other long objects, and is the easiest pocket to get to
-The top waist strap clips on the side of the bag, making it MUCH easier to put on since you aren't trying to meet two different straps.
Changeable Design:
-While the top waist strap goes all the way around you and then to to the bag, the leg strap doesn't have that design, meaning you have to meet the two sides in the middle. Not a huge fan of that, but since the top strap is supporting the bag already it's not a huge inconvenience.
-The...

Karl W. Paolini: It is a well-made product. It didn't have the features I assumed it would, but then that is my fault for not investigating it further. It is a quality product none-the-less.
