Marlino: Big volleyball fan here, I watch more than I play but that's besides the point. As a volley fan it didn't feel right to not have my own ball so I wanted to get the official game ball that I often see in the games I watch online.
- Feels great. Good ball for hitters, at least for me I found it was easier to make full contact with this ball than with a Molten. Felt a bit easier to pass with this ball as well.
- Good for setting. Some people complain about this ball being harder to set with, but I've experienced the opposite. I feel like my setting has improved with this ball, and some people have actually noticed and went out of their way to let me know which is definitely a big confidence-booster as an intermediate player.
- Float serve. It's almost as if this ball was designed for float serves! With a good float serve I found it much more difficult to pass than a float serve with other balls. Obviously if you're really good at float serves using any ball can be pretty lethal, but this one I found to be much more difficult to pass when it comes to floaters. It just moves a lot more in the air than other balls, making it quite unpredictable and hard to...

Chris Wilson: Awesome ball, more for older people (highschool seniors and above). Slows down the game a bit because people can't hit it as hard as others, but makes for very fun ralleys.

amznboi: I ended up really liking this vball. It's definitely not a beginner's or intermediate's vball to use. It takes time to get used to it and has a higher learning curve. You have to adjust a lot of your skills with the MVA200, especially passing. I shanked my passes a lot when I first played with it. I had to really adjust my passing skills with the MVA200. It is not as forgiving as the other vballs. It is great for setters (grips easy), hitters and especially float servers. This vball floats like crazy if you hit the sweet spot. Also for float serves, it has a tendency to just drop in front of you.
A lot of people hate using this vball b/c they are not used to it and find it very difficult to play with it. However, once you adapt and learn how to play with it, it really is a better vball compared to the traditional vball or the Molten 5000. If you are having a lot trouble with it, I'd recommend playing with the Molten 5000 (a lot easier to pick up and play) for a bit and then retrying the MVA200. If you are willing to put the time and effort, you will enjoy the MVA200.

Alex L: I personally love this ball, but I have to take one star off because nobody wants to play with it. Beginners and especially girls complain it's too hard, even though I have it inflated to slightly below regulation. They also complain it feels "small" even though it's official size. I love the panel design, the cover texture and feel, and the color scheme. I find it very easy to track in the air against a background of bright fluorescent lights which makes my hitting more consistent. The slightly denser feel of this ball compared to the crappy 18 panel Wilson and Baden balls at my gym makes it easier for me to place my sets, though hitting requires a bit more precision on the player's part. This is a player's ball, and if you got game, you'll probably enjoy it. If you're a beginner or complain when your forearms get red, then stick to your open gym's stock marshmallows.
I also play with a Molten 5000 and much prefer the Mikasa. The Molten feels balloony in comparison, and doesn't give you that satisfying "thud" when you smack it good.
I also play a Tachi SV5W which is a nice all-around ball but I definitely prefer the 8-panel composite design over the 18-panel leather...

Kym: I got this ball so I could use it instead of the busted up, used Tachikara's at the local Rec Center (no offense Tachikara, it's just that people beat the crap out Rec Center equipment). I love it and the design is nice and easy to view. My reason for not giving it a 5 is because some folks don't like the fact it seems heavier than some of the other balls. Some prefer a light ball. This in turn equates to a tougher set and it doesn't "pop" so much when being dug from a hard spike (and spikes will come HARD with this ball, let me tell you). Other than that, it's not bad. If you prefer a lighter ball that isn't geared toward beach play, a Molten might be the way to go. If you dig THIS sucker at high speed, you WILL get some redness on your arms, but again, if you're a big boy or your playing hard core, I think you won't mind. Again, just depends.
Personally, playing with this ball makes me feel like an Olympic athlete or something, which is cool too.
