Introducing the Mighty Paw Smart Bell 2.0, the perfect solution for communicating with your pup when they need to go outside. This super-light press button doorbell is designed to be easy to install and use, and is built with the highest quality materials for maximum sturdiness. With the Mighty Paw Smart Bell 2.0, you can be sure that you'll have the best possible doorbell for your pup. kmarrs: I first purchased this and returned after 2 weeks, due to the activators stopped working. The second set had the same problem (not a pairing issue) after 2 months. I contacted Mighty Paw and they did not reply at all! Amazon gave me a partial refund due to it being past 30 days. My dog loves using this, but I had to switch to another brand that cost less than half the price and is working well so far. You would think that Mighty Paw would stand behind their products, but apparently they do not and this was a pricey purchase.
Update: Seller contacted me and gave me a refund!

Geoff Beck: Installed these before we brought our puppy home last December so we could start training him right away. One button on the interior, and one on the exterior of our sliding door. We always rang the bell before we opened the door. Once our pup was big enough he started ringing it himself because he had learned that ringing the bell opened the door. He will be a year old soon and still rings his bell when he wants to go outside, or when he's outside and wants to come inside. The one down side is our glass sliding door is always dirty from the slobber and paw prints but that's fine. We'd rather know when he needs to go out. My office is upstairs so this is super helpful as I wouldn't see him sitting at the door which is the typical signal. I purchased a second set when we moved because I couldn't get the ringers off of the door. I did the same set up in our new house and it works well here too. They really stick on there.

Lucy Vander Laan: Give this product at 5 out of five because it performs exactly as described. However I have to say that instead of us training our dog, our dog began training us. He would ring the doorbell incessantly in order to be let out, and learned that every time he rang it we would come to the door. I know another family friend that bought this as well and ended up unplugging it because of how annoying it got. I will say if you're looking for a reliable product to ring every single time your dog needs to go out or pushes the button this is your go-to.
It does come with the ability to change to multiple different sound effects, however we found that the other circus music was more annoying than the typical doorbell ring. It also does come with the ability to adjust the volume which we greatly appreciated and we reduced it significantly to the point where we could just barely hear it.
We found it was super easy to train our dog with this. and he responded fast. Our family friend’s dog did as well; they learn quickly that pressing the button means something happens. It also does hold up against a lot of force, repeated pushing, or an eager dog.

SassyLass: No set up required except to decide where you want to put it. I put the receiver in the dining room (center of my ranch house), 1 activator on the inside slider door & 1 on the outside of the door. She took to it very quickly. It works almost too well. She was so used to me getting her right away that the one day I was in the middle of something and it took a while to get to her. She ended up pawing the cover off and chewing it up. (She just turned 2). For this reason I gave sturdiness a 3. If you have a larger dog especially, that's still very young or a puppy, the cover could come off if they use their paw aggressively because they're patience level is very low . The customer service at the company, however, was awesome. They sent me a replacement free of charge and response was immediate. I sent an email through their website portal at night before I went to bed. The next morning when I woke up there was already a response. I sent an email back with the information they needed and within 5 minutes they already sent me a tracking number for the replacement. Very impressed.

Palmz: We bought this cause I was exited that it had different bell sounds. But they are absolutely horrific… seriously who picked these?? The only good one is the one you hear in the example videos.
Otherwise, it works well. we have our doorbell about 10-12 ft from the outlet volume thingy. Now if we could just get our dog to use it more haha. She just thinks its a bell we hit when we go outside, but hasn’t associated it with her telling us she needs to go potty.

WillWill: I almost never write reviews on Amazon, but I feel obliged to do my part and save at least one person the hassle of having to complain about, and return, this awfully designed item.
I can't really provide any useful information about how well the product works, how easy it is for the dog to use or how well written the instructions are with regards to training the dog to use it, because upon sticking the bell to the door (after following the steps in teaching the dog that it's good to press the button) our 12 week old puppy pulled the cover off and severed the internal wire within fifteen minutes.
In short, it's extremely easy to expose the internals. Puppies are curious and chew things. Combine the two, and your puppy, unless it doesn't chew anything at all (lucky you!) will expose and eviscerate the bell's internals.
EDIT:
The seller kindly contacted me, upon reading this review, to offer a full refund. I've added a star because that's exceptional customer service.

Angela Coffman: We got our doggy doorbell today and I am excited by its possibilities. However the button seems to not want to press down easily at all. I just don’t see how my dog will get this to make a sound on his own. He isn’t a small dog so I’m slightly confused because the reviews are so positive which makes me wonder if I need to return it and buy another one.

Kirsty B.: A little pricey for what it is, but it does solve a problem. We taught our small dog to use the doorbell to get in from the garden rather than scratching up the door. The original one we bought was too sensitive and if she left a bit of mud on there it would continuously ring... Very annoying. I then tried a 'human' doorbell which required a 'click' force but that was too hard for her nose. This one requires the 'click' but it works with very little force, so it seems to have solved the problem.
Very easy set up and unobnoxious sounds compared to the others! The volume also goes nice and low which is ideal as the receiver is right next to my seat.
Overall, would recommend.

Philly Cheese Eagle: This product lasted a whopping 4 weeks before dying.
UPDATE:
Was contacted by Corey, mighty paw owner. Like any good, ethical company/owner, Corey took full responsibility for sending a defective product. Based on all the other positive reviews, I’m guessing my situation was a one off. I was refunded my full amount, no questions asked. I appreciated not just a company, but the owner, reaching out to take ownership, and doing what he can to make the situation right.
Thank you Corey & Mighty Paw!

MW Vieira: Works as advertised!!!! Our 9 month old goldendoodle learned very quickly (3 days) to push and ring the bell to go outside. No more piddle pads!!!!!!! 8 year old poodle mix could care less about the bell, he still hits the door with his paw to go out!!!!!! Will take longer to teach the old dog (hahaha)!!!!!!!
