Dot: Love it! My dog will lick away and it’s great for getting her to slow down when eating dinner. She has the habit of carrying it around and mouthing on it (take it away when I notice she’s doing so) but it’s actually held up very well, considering she’s a big girl. Definitely will buy another when this one eventually wears down.

STUDIO: We use this for licking stimulation but also just to get our dog to eat kibble when needed (she prefers it frozen in water). Generally easy to clean however does need a good scrub. No concerns and would recommend.

LO: This is the best luck mat product I have found for our labs - it keeps them engaged the longest, and also holds up well to aggressive licking and scrubbing clean with a dish brush. I use organic natural unsalted peanut butter (single ingredient is peanuts), smear it around the nubby side with a silicone spatula, and refrigerate or freeze for at least 20 minutes before giving to the dogs. Highly recommend.

The Girl With Nine Lives: I have tried all the slow feeders, then I saw this on TikTok and decided to give it a try. It absolutely hands down is the most effective. I’ve had it over a year now and it’s still in perfect condition. I put it in the dish washer. It’s great for traveling. I don’t know why, but they never flip it over. I sometimes put it inside a metal bowl, but not always.
I do hydrate the kibble and this makes it even better. I put soft foot in it too, no issues.

The only draw back is that silicone can be more prone to causing “puppy acne” especially if you have a yeasty dog. But with how easy it is to wash and disinfect, it’s not been much of an issue.

I recommend this to all my clients. It might look small, but it holds about 4c of food, and no dog should be getting more than that per serving anyway.

Samantha: So I got this for my 11 month old Shepard lab mix. She inhales food and this was one of my first choices after doing some research. I was skeptical because it doesn’t really look like it would slow her down a lot. We’ve had it for a week now and I can give an honest update. She eats the first half VERY fast, but she has to work for the food in the bottom of the bowl which obviously slows her down. I love the bowl and it fits perfectly in her bowl for an insert. My only thing is that I wished it slowed her down on the first half too. Other than that it works great, easy to clean and fits in her bowl.
