Brett: So far we have been very happy with our dual gate opener. Install is not bad if you are handy. But if you were someone who does not normally do house hold projects, I would not make this the first project you ever do. The system and the accessories we got with it have so far been working great.

Dennis Anderson: The auxiliary arm quit working after 45 days, they say it’s covered under warranty, first was told 7-10 days then 10-20 days and now 90+ days with no real idea when the arm will arrive. Nice has taken over the troubleshooting and warranty part of the business and it’s hard to get a consistent reply from them. At the present time I would say don’t buy one at least until their supply chain is back to normal.

Daniel R.: Purchased in November 2021 and didn't have any problems until June 2023. Secondary gate wouldn't open properly and an alarm would sound. Called Technical Support and they were actually very helpful and knowledgeable at trouble shooting. After doing some tests with them it was determined that something was impeding the gates movement. I cut down all brush around the gate hinges and lubed the hinges and it seemed to fix the issue. However, a couple of weeks later the same trouble started again.
I again called Technical Support and after going through more trouble shooting they determined that my control board was bad and needed to be replaced and transferred me to sales which quoted me $369 for a new board and box (without letting me know that I could just replace the board for $319). I received he new board a week later and installed it and the secondary arm wouldn't work. By placing a multimeter on the contacts for the arm I determined that the contacts didn't have any power and called technical support again. They went through some more trouble shooting and determined that the secondary arm needed to be replaced which would be another $349 for a total repair...

Cory: Works ok, slow opening and closing. But when it was cold -30 ish they would have a hard time working. We just left the gates open at that point.
The cold with the wind and gate just put to much pressure and the auto stop would kick in. Even at the highest setting

JeriLynn & ChrisJeriLynn & Chris: I bought a home that had the old 502 system installed but it didn’t work – don’t know how long it sat unused/disconnected. Tech support said to replace battery and gates moved but couldn’t set closing limits so they sold me a new wireless receiver. Installed it but still didn’t work so then they said it was control board. Instead of buying an expensive board and the system was apparently old, I bought the 372.

I thought I could just replace the 502 arms with the new 372 arms and install the controller but they were binding against the gate and had to use the new hardware then do a lot of tweaking of the pivot brackets. After installation of hardware, I was disappointed to see a battery is required but it didn’t come with one and I didn’t notice that very important detail in the item description. Luckily I had just bought one so I used it and the enclosure from the 502.

I had to run 2 additional wires and work with tech support to hard wire the original keypad (battery compartment was corroded so no power); however that works intermittently – it may be old and have to buy another. And I couldn’t pair the original ‘keychain...

Amazon CustomerAmazon Customer: Fraudulent manufacturer warranty, opener's primary arm came with broken limit switch. Unfortunately install was completed outside Amazon's return window. Contacted manufacturer through amazon to get warranty, all they are telling me is there is no warranty? Gate opener is 2 months old and has never worked properly. It has been escalated but no resolution yet. Do not trust the manufacturer warranty on this item. Based off my experience I would give zero stars for a gross lack of company ethics.
