Helen BroganHelen Brogan: For the price this is an excellent adult colouring book. Various flower images - with some images having additional objects to colour. The images are placed on a black background that always makes colours more vibrant. The book would be suitable for beginners as the art work is not too busy, meaning it doesn't have a lot of tiny bits to colour nor intricate patterns. The only down side - as with many books - depending on what colouring pens or markers you use, the colours can bleed through onto the next image so make sure you put a piece of paper behind the page you are colouring to ensure the pages that follow are kept clean.

ariana: Pictures itself are ok. But paper very fine. Also absorbs the colour a lot. So you can only use gel pens. As if you use markers, colour fades and does not look as bright. Especially if it is a neon colour. And considering how large are details in most of the pictures, I’d definitely prefer to use markers. So overall disappointed

ClareifyClareify: I know that some reviewers criticize the sorta faded black background of these pages and blame it on poor print quality, but that is not accurate. I think the faded style background (versus a rich dark black] was 100% intentional and, I love it. It creates a different look.
For me, I like that i can make the flowers appear to pop off the page.
I also like that i can draw outlines in various colors, including dark blues, grays and blacks, around the flowers, instead of the outline being drawn over the edges of the actual flowers (this what i was trying to show in my photos but not sure if i was successful in showing what i meant).
If the pages were dark black, the outlines on the black would only show up with certain gelpens.. Anyways, I think everyone should give these a chance because you can really increase your coloring by trying something new.

Dave Baker: I was disappointed because this was my 1st Black Pages coloring book ( I have 38 adult coloring books with white pages). The pages themselves are very thin and flimsy. It is a shame because I really like the pictures themselves.

MichaelMichael: I love this coloring book! I even ordered brand new gel pens for this! I love how the pages are black and the colors really pop out! Also THE PICTURES YOU GET TO COLOR ARE AMAZING!!!! They really make you want to take your time and put a lot of detail in it! I added pictures of some of the pages in this book. The first page is one of my favorites and then the last picture is the one I colored. Its honestly the best thing I've bought in awhile!
