Amazon Customer: I wasn't crazy about spending this much money on a jar of sauce, but I wanted to see if I could find a good tomato and basil sauce. This hit the spot. Absolutely delicious!! My taste buds were very pleased!!! I can't say I would spend this much again because I am frugal, but if if the price drops, I will buy many and stock up.

banana wind: I cannot believe how glorious and fresh this sauce is. My mouth is watering as I write. We had this for the first time last night with some pappardelle and it was just....it evoked memories from childhood, getting to taste the sauce from the big wooden spoon. It is perfection. Oh - and it's the only tomato sauce that does not give me heartburn! And - it's available at Market Basket now, too - for half the price. It is the absolute freshest, most flavorful, thick but not too thick sauce.

The Silver Streak: This is by far the best jarred sauce available. It's expensive, but if you can find it on sale, grab it. I add a pinch of fennel seed and a handful of freshly chopped flat parsley, and voila!
