A_Guitar_Solo: Herein lies the problem. Guitar knobs seem to be manufactured in two styles: One is standard and the other, the part that attaches to the pot, is recessed. If I understand the rationale for the recess, it is so the knobs sit lower on the guitar.
Unfortunately, because the connections are recessed, the posts of my volume and tone pots and not long enough to engage them.
The big problem I’m facing is that very few manufacturers actually designate whether their knobs are standard or recessed and it’s almost impossible to tell just by looking at the photos of the product.
Given the right circumstances, I see no reason why these would not perform well and provide a lot of value for the money. Unfortunately, for me, they just don’t fit my guitar.

Nightsedge: I bought this set 'on a lark' for my Schecter Hellraiser Hybrid 7-string. I knew going in that they might not fit due to the 'bow-top' style body on my guitar, and indeed they don't fit.
The thing is, they're beautiful and easy to read, too, and they fit my daughter's 'Flat-top' Strat without issue although they're still a bit 'shallow' in terms of the underlying POT shaft they'll grip.
So:
+ They're lovely, seem well cast, and easy to read!
- The shape and style only lend themselves to flat top guitars.
- The spline-area is fairly small, meaning short-shaft Pots may not get enough 'bite' to seat the knobs.

Nichole Pryce: They fit very well and are smooth.Theyre much like standard LP knobs but more rounded on top.So no banging the side of your hand on them.Just slide right by.The inlay on top gives a nice splash of color when it catches light. Classy.

cranialtyrant: They work well, look nice and fit well. They're a bit cheap made and flimsy to the touch, but as long as you're not using the knobs you'll be alright.

ChristopherJChristopherJ: I put these Abalone-ringed Speed-Knobs on my Xavier PRO510, replacing the gold vintage-style top-hats, that it came with. They really LOOK GREAT! Nicely figured abalone circles. They seem to be well made. And, they fit well.
The Xavier PRO510, BTW, has coil-splits on the push-pull Tone knobs, BUT, the shape of the stock "top-hat" knobs made it rather difficult to PULL UP on the knob... Well, these Speed-Knobs fixed that problem, nicely. They're MUCH easier to grip, when pulling-up on, than the vintage-style top-hat knobs.
IF you also have this same problem, then, this is an effective, AND, great looking fix.

It's made for an Epiphone, so it needed a little sanding, to make it fit, but it looks great!
