E. Tackett: Living in a dusty home can cause lots of problems to your and your pet's health. We knew it was getting time to replace our filters so decided to check these out. We ended up loving these filters as they seem to really help. They fit our furnace perfectly just as expected. The air seems better as our cat stopped having slightly runny eyes as he did in the few days before we changed out our filter. They are no so thick that they will choke your system, but they are thick enough to filter out the junk you don't want being sucked into your furnace. You get six nice filters in this pack so once you buy them, you don't have to worry about getting more for a while.

Stephen Goodwin: The entire face is filter media, not card board. Other brands have card board criss cross construction on both sides of the filter. These have all Filter on the side the air hits. Merv 8 seems to be the perfect balance of filtering everything out and not obstructing the air flow in the system. We've read over and over to use this merv, and hepa cleaners in the house. The hepas pick up tons of dust, etc. Buying these from now on. The price is economical too. Came in perfect condition.
