Men's Regular Fit Work Pants by Dickies - Perfect for Everyday Wear

CRAIG F: Some time back I had purchased a pack of quarter-height socks at Walmart that were reasonably-priced. But, like all socks, the pairs that I purchased started developing holes in the heal area. Because I prefer quarter-height socks to the mid-calf (or higher) versions, I was hoping to replace the ones that I had previously purchased. I couldn't find them at Walmart, but low and behold, Amazon carries what I thought were the same product, and I ordered a pack. Much to my pleasant surprise, these are even MORE comfortable than the pack that I had previously purchased. I don't know if the blend is different (I always look for a high cotton content), but these seem a little softer against the skin.

I'll report back when these start to develop holes; hopefully not for a long time. In the mean time, I might order more in different colors (my grey socks are pretty versatile, though).

Neil Fairall: I purchased these in the twelve to fifteen size about a year and a half ago, and the size change was an eye opener. I am a size twelve, and I had no idea how uncomfortable the standard nine-to-twelve socks that you buy in stores were until I got these. No more cramped toes. Really, you have no idea how life-changing that is until you experience it yourself.

The socks are comfortable and keep my feet warm and dry.

The only concern I have is that they are wearing out in the heel after a year and a half. I wear my socks all day, walking around on hardwood floors and carpet in them some of the time, so your mileage may vary. For all I know, that isn't a bad life for a sock, and I am certainly not going to stop buying them.

Amazon Customer: My feet are about 12" in length and 3.5" in width, so I have big feet and these socks fit so well. They are warm and I do find my feet to be a little sweaty, but that's good as winter is coming. I will be sure to add more of these socks to my collection.

M. Gaston "watch guy": I have wearing these socks for around 4 months--both white and grey varieties. I wear a size 14 shoe but ordered the 15-17 size. These fit me fine with perhaps a bit of extra room. They feel fine and seem to come through the wash well--I turn them inside out as per the instructions. It's early regarding durability but so far so good. I have purchased much more expensive socks in the past that have had durability problems so time will tell. I looked at a lot socks before trying these but I took a chance because of the reasonable ratings and total number of them. Worth a try.

JOSE ANTONIO FRANCO: Estos calcetines son bastante confortables, como son gruesos ayudan a la amortiguación del pie cuando haces ejercicio o caminas. A pesar de ser gruesos y mullidos no son calientes gracias a su composición de algodón y poliester, que ayuda a mantener tu pie seco y fresco. Llegan arriba del tobillo, y aunque se mantienen bien ajustados en su lugar no aprietan ni dejan marcas. Los utilizo para hacer ejercicio y me ayudan a sentir menos fatiga o dolor en los pies que con unos calcetines delgados. Por otro lado, son durables, ya había comprado otros iguales y me han aguantado bastante tiempo de uso. No son caros y puedes comprar los suficientes sin gastar mucho dinero. Los recomiendo.

Ferg: I had worn Hanes ankle socks for years. It was not uncommon for them to start to tear but I just dealt with it. Figured they weren't overly expensive and perhaps I just had sharp toenails or something. Anyhow, the tearing starting happening much faster to the point where every time I was doing laundry I would have to sort out a few socks that had holes in them. I was going through socks incredibly fast.

About 5 months ago, finally fed up I ordered a pair of these Dickey socks, just one pack to see if they were any better. OMG, night and day. I have yet to have any holes or tears in these socks. They are more comfortable and my feet don't stink at all. I figured the "moisture wicking" was just advertising, but my feet do stay more dry.

Comfortable, durable, affordable and made to last. I ordered more yesterday. These will be my go-to socks for as long as they make them.
