MargaretNC: Bought these for my 95-year old father, who walks with a rollator and stays as active as possible. He requested over-the-calf socks that wouldn’t slide down, with cotton fabric because nylon or acrylic socks make his feet sweat. Gold Toe was his top choice for the quality. These athletic socks have the highest cotton content (86%) of any Gold Toe men’s socks I could find. Best choice for Dad’s all-day wear, and he can save his thin synthetic socks for formal wear.

Ruth Flores: My husband loves these 100% cotton socks. They are tall enough, even after shrinking, to reach the knee and keep cowboy boots from rubbing his legs. They are a medium weight--not too thin, but not too thick. The cotton breaths to keep his feet dry.

BA2014: My husband is a long time Gold Toe fan. These Cotton Athletic socks are no exception. He loves them. He likes to wear them with work boots and they are perfect for that. This style has both toe and heels. It's not a tube sock which he dislikes so be sure you understand that when you order because the photos can be misleading. This is one of the best socks for daily wear on the market. He ended up requesting 3-3pack orders after the first one. Would have been cheaper to order in bulk but the more he had time to wear them the more socks he wanted. They're great!!!
