S-Marie: This jacket is exactly as described, true to size and very warm. The duck cotton is strong and durable with multiple pockets . The wind doesn’t cut through ! If you work outdoors and need a jacket that actually holds true to what the description says I highly recommend.

Si è vero veste abbondante , se vuoi un giaccone sciancrato non prenderlo , ma è spettacolare, morbido e robusto allo stesso tempo, tiene caldo e si vede che è di ottima qualità.
Lo consiglio

rhonda morin: My husband loves his new jacket! It fits perfectly and is super comfortable. The quality is excellent and exactly what one expects from Carhartt. It's stylish enough to wear out n about too. He thinks I paid way more than I did for it. Lol I'm not saying anything 😉

Henk(fishi): Alles ist Geschmackssache, klar! Also (aus)probieren.

I have been a Carhartt fan for years, and I purchased the Utility Jacket to replace my 26 year old Carhartt chore coat.
What do I like about this jacket: Everything.
The Fit: I am 5ft 11in tall, 185lbs, Medium build, so I ordered a Large, and the fit is perfect from the sleeve length to the shoulders. Because the jacket is gusseted, it allows for full range of motion even with the jacket fully zipped and buttoned. The jacket has an adjustable waste cord, which I have not had to touch. Another nice feature is the jacket length, which falls at pocket level on a pair of jeans. The jacket is slightly longer in the back than in the front, which keeps it from riding up.
Storage: The jacket has six pockets. Two front "hand" pockets, two buttoned breast pockets, an additional front left breast pocket with a center Velcro closure, which makes for a handy place to hold pencils, and an interior zip pocket on the left, which I use to keep my wallet secure. Pocket depth has not been an issue, and I keep an IPhone 13 in the front hand pocket with no issues.
Warmth: The jacket is Sherpa lined. I've worn it hours in 25-32 degree temps and was...

John:
I'm 6'1 roughly 180lbs, and I needed a large "big and tall" which is really a" large tall" (this was on the label marked as LARGE TALL). a Large "big and tall" is really a large "tall". I ordered a large originally and it was too short, mainly on the torse and sleeves. I have sent it back and got the Large "big and tall" (again actually a large, tall). If you are similar height, I would suggest the Large Big and Tall (aka large, tall). If you are a heavy-set guy with similar height id start with a large, big and tall but might start looking at a XL depending on your weight/waist size. Layering up with a sweater is good with the sizing I got, plenty of room for layering if needed.
Overall, a nice jacket, warm and nice fit. This jacket is more of a recreational use and not for work but I expect it to last with the Carhartt work clothing I have and how its held up thus far with the wear and tear from construction.
hope this helps others placing orders.

This jacket is absolutely perfect for FALL WEATHER!!! It’s not too heavy, not too long the color is great…it doesn’t look like a work coat. I don’t know yet if it is water resistant, but if needed. I can bring it to the cleaners for treatment. It’s a good heavyweight material so I am sure it is durable. The only real drawback to this garment is its price, yes it IS a bit pricey but, for its warmth and quality it is worth the cost.
Okay, so I've had it about a month and a half now. It IS a good sturdy jacket, but if it is cold out, and the wind kicks up...you WILL feel that cold, but you'll also warm back up again immediately. This jacket is MEANT to be worn with warmer shirts underneath. It's comfy, but the pockets are wrong, and they are not deep enough. I have a five inch flashlight that I carry in one pocket...and it JUST lays there...turn the wrong way and it's gone. A GREAT jacket...NOT A COAT...but it can use some REAL improvements. As Carhartt products go...I'm totally disappointed. OH...and the INSIDE ZIPPER is really too small, it's verrry hard to hold onto and zip the jacket up. A MUCH BETTER VALUE would be the ROTHCO FIELD...

Lee John Ebhert: It’s definitely the most practical jacket I’ve owned, comfortable, warm, and fits great.
The only thing I wish was different is the length of the jacket, it fits loose in the waste and chest but rides high at the belt line.
