MEKO Wood Digital Alarm Clock - The Perfect Addition to Any Bedroom

Amazon Customer: It’s perfect in terms of aesthetics and brightness, but unfortunately, it’s slow. I still have to verify the actual time on my phone, which defeats the purpose :(

PETER J MERIDIAN: In all fairness, the manual does in fact tell me that the batteries are drained by all the LEDs on the clock, but still - the tiny little battery it has embedded in it will not last all that long if you decide to move the clock from one room to another.

The clock otherwise performs as advertised. I do wish that it somehow had a bluetooth feature to pair with a phone, or a way to change the alarm sound, or - at the very least - have access to the radio. Cie la vie.

Ryan Schaffer: It is a very nice clock. The instructions could use a revamp as they were hard to follow. Once I figured out how to keep the clock visible it worked as I wanted it to. I am thinking of buying another and use it on my entertainment center. When you use the clapping function it will display the info on the nice wood grain base.

tcookertcooker: I was looking for a digital calendar for my desk, which is surprisingly more difficult than it sounds. This clock was the only thing to check all the boxes. I had a tough time estimating the size of this, so have included a photo. It's 8 cm tall, 17 cm wide.

PROs:
- Shows date, day, and time
- 3 dimmer settings
- 24-hour clock setting
- pretty easy to program
- Does not look cheap & plastic-y

CONs:
- Numbers & letters are ridiculously close together. On July 10, the date will be "JULIO"
- Temperature is pretty hit and miss
- Probably too bright for a bedroom

Arie: like it except the 1 when they appeared they seem cut but it's like the picture. nice setting two alarm, noise recognition so the time appeared brithgness whish could be 1 or 2 setting less bright but in general really satisfied

Logi: This clock is amazing build and quality. But sadly every day it is loosing 6 minutes. After 5 days my clock is off by 30 minutes. It void the purpose of having a clock for being punctual. I am returning since I don't need a useless decorative light on the desk.

the 'clap' feature doesn't work most of the time. you have to clap several times before the display shows

Paul C.Paul C.: I LOVE having this clock right under my monitor because I hide my Windows taskbar which shows me the date and time. In order to view the date and time in Windows, I have to stop what I'm doing and bring the taskbar up.

Now, I don't. This clock is perfect. It's dimmable so it doesn't bother my eyes at night. I barely notice it's there. It goes with my setup nicely as it fits perfectly under my monitor without being intrusive.

I love that it shows the temperature too. It has everything I would want in a clock and more. It has a battery backup and USB power supply. It also has a USB port which might be helpful to charge a phone or whatever.

I was surprised it came with the USB light. I don't need it for the clock, but I'll pack it with my laptop.

Love the texture of the front. I don't know if it's actual wood or just feels that way, but it plays the part well.

This is the solution for my constant need for time and date throughout my day. It's low profile, meaning it doesn't stand out with big red or green numbers. That light grey color is so easy on the eyes with 3 different brightnesses.

The only issue and that is the same reason I reduced one star and that is temperature reading.
Now it says it can show temperature ranging -10c to 50c, but apparently it isn't working at all.
Living in Toronto, Canada I want to see temperature reading. So at the moment I wrote this review the temperature outside was -4c but this clock shows 23c, which is not even close. Now the problem is you can't get a full refund if you return. I have attached images for your reference

Robert Gemp: I purchased the Meko Digital Alarm Clock as a table-top clock for my media room since the cable company eliminated the clock display on their upgraded box. I am very pleased with the Meko clock's appearance and combination of features: day/date feature in addition to the time, battery backup (provided) so time ticks though power outage, three levels of display brightness (level 1 is perfect for a dark room, 3 is fine in a sunlit room, and 2 is a perfect compromise for my circumstance).

The appearance is just as shown with a simulated dark wood grain housing with excellent fit-and-finish. The display symbol size is perfect for both time and day/date information even for across-the-room viewing. It is viewable at any angle so if you can see the clock front you can read the time. The unlit display symbols completely disappear into the wood grain which makes the overall appearance very sophisticated. I'm not using the alarms so I appreciate that the alarm display disappears. Some reviewers have said the alarm display numerals remain on but since I NEVER set them mine are off. If yours are on and you want them off I suggest using the Default button to restore...
