MEGEAR Skysword Level 2 Electric Vehicle Charger

Jennifer S Reed: Bought to use with my 2022 Kia Niro PHEV. I leave it plugged in outdoors with the outlet box locked so no one can walk away with it when I am not actively charging. Have had no problems leaving outdoors, or charging in the winter or hot summer. I do not use this as a portable charger but it would be very easy to toss in the trunk of the car and take with me, if I knew that my destination had a dedicated 240V outlet to charge at. Customer service was excellent when I needed a replacement before the warranty expired.

Chad Young: My wife and I had planned a trip and we're going to use this cord so that we could plug in at our relatives house when we arrived. We knew we would be cutting it close range wise to be able to go to a public charger once we got there. So I purchased this cord from Amazon as a way to charge the car once we got there. I did not test the cord when I received it, I had just assumed that it would work because it was brand new. When I got the court out at my relative's house to charge the car the cord did not work. Evidently it was dead on arrival and it's my fault for not checking it. It ended up costing us the second leg of our trip as the charger that's provided with the vehicle is a very slow charger and it took us almost 20 hours to charge back up with The one supplied with the vehicle when we bought it. Very disappointed, very frustrated, And it definitely left me in a bind, although only about 99% of the blame goes on them because I should have checked it before I left.

beinpositive: The charger works well so far. I live in Phoenix and summer is coming. I'm curious how it does in the heat. Also wondering how long it will last overall.
The rubber dust cap works well, but holds on to dust, which we have lots of here. I'll want to clean the plug end, dust cap, and the receiver part on the car sometime soon.
The charger came with a fairly nice nylon zipper bag- it might be useful for some . . .

Random Amazon User: The mounting tab is made out of thin plastic which broke after a few months of use. Turns itself off (trips) a few times a month i have noticed in my daily use adding 30 KWH to my car on average daily. Unplugging and plugging back in resets it fin but it is inconvenient. Cord seems to get tangled easier than other chargers I own.

John Palmer: I installed this and use it 1-4 times Per day. It’s perfect. Fast, reliable, charging a 2021 BMW 530e to the max. 21 mile range, usually at 2.5 hours. Very happy with this unit.
