harpergal: I'm really enjoying this 12oz. French Press. I like to change up my beans and have now added ground cocoa beans to the mix for a dark chocolate factor. So sometimes I just make coffee. Sometimes I make hot cocoa. Sometimes I mix them before brewing. I don't waste anything with this size. It's just me wanting the brew, so it's enough. I still have a bigger one if I want to store some in the fridge or for company but this little guy is my go to. Would purchase again.

SW Pa buyer: I really struggled to find the right French press for me that was the right size for one full travel mug of coffee, plus would actually keep the coffee hot while it's steeping for 4-5min. This one came up when I searched for "insulated" ones and it is awesome!
It also "locks"-- you can turn the lid so that it fully closes and you don't have that gap/hole at the spout that causes your coffee to cool. The clip-on steel coffee scoop is a nice extra too, I keep it clipped to the press (although I'm guessing it's intended for clipping your coffee bag closed).
It definitely feels like very good quality, very solid and not lightweight. You won't regret this purchase if it's the size you're looking for.

Snicklefritz: ****This item IS damaged due to Amazon's lackluster packaging --
upon contacting Amazon, first representative dropper carrier on me -- ie: hung up on me when she heard the words damaged item. Second rep, accomodated return but took forever -- time is something we cannot get a refund for, nobody is above the laws of time! This is the second package in a week that has been poorly packaged and arrived damaged rendering it to the landfill. :(
So sad, because I liked this item....Not willing to take the chance a second time, only to pay the cost of more of my valuable time, as time waits for no-one. ****
The plunger handle paid time's price, as it sits sideways awaiting the dumpster.

Phil E: Overall, I think it's a good product. It does the job and is solid built. However I was expecting it to keep the temperature hot for a little longer. Had it done so, it would have been a 4/4.5 in my book.

Dragyth: Good cute cafetiere, outside stays relatively cool, the fit and finish is great. The main issue I have with it is the tiny spout, and it's not the easiest to align the top with the base.
As a result I've pressed too hard and spilt coffee out of it on more than one occasion.
