Lisa Velazquez Cunningham: This is an excellent item if you subtract 6 inches from the sizing. I am a PT who bout this for her proportionally correct daughter who is 4’5 inches. With the 2-3 finger space under her axillae the crutches were placed at 4’11” markings. A good 6 inches higher than they should have been. Otherwise they are sturdy, strong, clean, well packaged, and will work for her nicely.

Ronald G. Mercer: It is a little hard to determine the size that is required. It appears that on some sites it talks about the person's height while at others it refers to the crutch height. In the end these were for a 12 year old girl that is on the short size and this youth crutch at its maximum extension just served the purpose. When she grows at all they will no longer work for her.

Amazon Customer: My daughter was 10 when she needed these. She is a little short for her age, but these adjusted well for her. It is important to read up on how to fit crutches before using them. These are great crutches, and are perfect if you have growing children and need an adjustable pair to store away for the next kid that gets injured.

Primus:
I got these for my daughter for Christmas. Seriously. She's not even hurt. She and her friends are always playing "doctor" and putting fake splints on each other. It was on the top of her list. Now I get to hear her clunking all around the house.
As for the product, I am pretty impressed with the quality and ability to adjust properly. They have come a long way since I was a kid. I would have no hesitation to order these again if they were actually needed.

Perky1: I bought these crutches in May prior to foot surgery. I am a little less than 5 feet tall. My surgery was delayed for over a month, and I didn’t try the crutches until the night before. I was surprised to find they were too short for me. The return policy is 20 days, so I can’t return them . I contacted the manufacturer, who stated it is not a quality issue. I believe incorrect sizing is a quality issue. I bought a different brand from a medical supplier. At the same setting, they are over an inch taller. I would not recommend buying these crutches for anyone taller than 4’10”.
