Kindle Customer: My mom is 66 and fractured her knee. She says these are strong but the padding isn't enough and her armpits get sore. If it had better padding, I would give it an extra star. But if you need a pair, these are the same one's they had at the hospital and they are good.

Divetus:
These are good sturdy and adjustable crutches that can accommodate an adult that is up to 300lbs and between 5'2'' to 5'10''. Adjusting the crutches is simple through push-buttons which one can adjust for the height at the bottom, and there some instructions provided about how to use the crutches - crutch height, handgrip and how the fit works. The grip is relatively comfortable and plentiful at the bottom, for the arms and under the arms. It also has a limited lifetime warranty.
These crutches are pretty much the standard crutches that you would get from the hospital, but the price is much cheaper buying from amazon!

K Mac: Good quality crutches for a reasonable price. If you need these for any extended period you may want to swap out the arm pads with something more comfortable. For my purposes (3 days of use) they were great. Also, the shipping was very fast.

Jeff Kletsky:
Well, hard to say you "love" crutches, but these are solid and reasonably easily adjustable. The overall length is a pin-and-hole slide which is easy to use. The handle is wing-nut and bolt which is a tad more difficult than the pin-and-hole adjustment, but results in a "tighter" feel as the handles don't wobble. The weight is light, comparable to or lighter than the one-size-fits-all ones we purchased locally on short notice (for $45, instead of the $20-25 these sell for right now).
At half the price of the locally obtained ones, these are a great value. They are inexpensive enough for us to have another pair at the top of the stairs, for example.
The ship and delivery from Diabetes Health Supplies was fast and they were well packed.

M: I needed crutches for less than a week for some follow-up surgery. Buying a pair seemed extravagant until I saw these and read the reviews about their quality. The crutches are indeed strong and durable, easy to adjust to the needed height, and arrived much sooner than the promise date. I had looked into renting a pair of crutches (the puzzled look on the store owner's face was priceless), but these proved to be a much better deal. Definitely worth the price, and timely delivery; I'd highly recommend especially for those with immediate short-term needs.

Engee00: These are being used by my boyfriend - 6', 195 pounds - and he likes them as far as crutches go. They are nothing fancy but they serve the purpose. When you are purchasing crutches be sure to look for the right size. I have never used crutches and these seem too short for my boyfriend to me but he says they are the right size for him. They are strong and well made and were certainly the right price.
