This was one of the better quality tags I've ordered, as medical conditions, doctors and emergency contacts have changed over the years. I went with this tag because of the color. My top quality tags are all black with deeply engraved silver letters. This one, being silver, stands out from the others on the chain as this has the most critical info on it. It's easy to read and arrived ahead of schedule. My only complaint is that it did not have a secondary ring for the chain to go thru. You have to put the chain thru the hole in the tag which makes it at a right angle to your chest and thus it does not hang flat. It's a minor detail but all the tags I've ordered from other suppliers have had that feature.

My last tag with this vendor is a few years old and still looks the same. I got a new tag because I had doctor changes. How do they compare? The new tag is heavier thicker metal but same size. The print is darker, side by side a lot darker. The medical logo is now blue rather than same as print. The chain seems the same. Last tag had a loop hook on it and this just came with one chain. I used the loop from my old chain. Some people use a small chain or do not care which way the tag hangs. Frankly after 8 years in military, I never care about the way the tag hanged. I used the small chain the military gave me for something else... I think the new tag is superior in every way. A military tag is stamped but has room for little information. This tag gives you 9 lines on both side! I am very happy with this one and was satisfied with the first one.

The etching was clear, deep and extremely easy to read. I have “older” eyes so I often have trouble reading things. Not with this! Plenty of room for lots of information . I love that it also comes with a wallet card to provide more info. I know my husband will have the info he needs for his care in case of an emergency. I wax EXTREMELY pleased. You can put whatever you want on it. It isn’t just for medical! Very sturdy, durable and professional looking.
