Added 2 stars for the company’s customer service. After posting my review, a Maxlin customer representative reached out to me to see if they could address the issue I was having with the cable, even though I was well beyond the normal return date. IMHO, this deserves consideration when making a purchase. There’s always going to be some (hopefully small) percentage of *any* product that doesn’t meet expectations, but how a company deals with these issues is the deciding factor for me in determining whether I would buy from them again. Based on their customer support, I’d be willing to try a Maxlin cable again if/when I need another one.

Started having disconnects between my switch and a new access point, occurring once every 4 weeks or so. Due to the intermittent nature, it took time to determine whether it was the access point, port of the switch, or the cable. After swapping 2 access points and still getting the failure, it was down to the switch or the cable. Last night the disconnect lasted 30 minutes, and we were able to validate that the cable was bad.
