chemchem: While the recipes are created and prepared by junior chefs, it is not for the novis chef. My 12 year old has loved all the Gordon Ramsey shows since he was little including Masterchef Jr. I was excited to get him this as part of a gift and he enjoyed looking through the recipes. However, I will warn that most of the recipes are more complicated or require a lot of equipment (pressure cooker for example) that not everyone has in their kitchen. We did make the chicken lolly pops twice and he enjoyed those. Since he was cooking for 1, we had plenty of left over sauce which cut down on prep time the second time. We will try some other recipes but likely not going to use this book as often because we don't own all the equipment required to make the dishes.

Joyce Parker: He loves watching the show, and he loves to cook, so he was wanting the book for his birthday. He was very surprised. The first thing he made were the madelines, which was one of the recipes in the book.

Joanna: I got it for my niece's 8th birthday and she was in seventh heaven. Personally I think some recipes are difficult but I guess kids would cook together with parents so it's not such a big deal.
