Amazon Customer: I’d recommend this book. It’s fun to have distinct licks from 20 different guitarists. There is quite a bit of background info that doesn’t interest me much – I would have removed some of this and made it “200 Licks for Rock Guitar”. I’m sure a lot of people love that information though.

seanster: Generally, with all the Joseph Alexander music books, they include tracks to play with or against and video examples of the technic or riff you are studying. These can really help if you also put in effort. Sometimes I even think to myself, "Oh, okay, so that's done this way, with just a little tweak I can do..." And it often works.
