Brian Chown: Also bought for a friend and they are pleased with it.

KirbachuKirbachu: The book has been helpful in understanding more difficult topics. Examples used are relatively simple. Only complaint is the "new" condition it came in, bent pages that stick together occasionally.

JustAnotherAmazonCustomer: I bought this book a few months ago and I was quite impressed. The book is clearly written and is easy to understand like it claims to be. There is also humor from time to time. Some people were complaining that most of the answers to the examples are 1 or 0, this is not entirely true. Some of the examples involving numbers being plugged resulted in 0 or 1, not all of them. The author does this deliberately so it is easy to follow. The book claims to be easy to understand. If all of the answers resulted in ((x^ 7 +4x^3-2x^2-sqrt(x))/ sin(x^3) ), the author would clearly be a liar since this would be difficult to comprehend (this is not the case). I would definitely recommend it to someone who needs a little bit of extra help with Calculus 2 or wants to get a head start and wants to get the basics down before taking the actual class.

Jim:
The authors style is clear and readable.
Chapters 11, 12 and 13 cover sequences and series. The author's explanations of Maclaurin and Taylor series was
outstanding.
The rest of the book is pretty good also. It begins with a review of Calculus I and ends with an introduction to differential equations.

Alex: It's not comprehensive and perhaps has fewer examples than a textbook, but it uses human English, not math that happens to be in English. I can learn with this!

Danielle A:
Doing a maths and stats degree, but always struggled with calculus, and this book really sets it all out in easily learnable steps.
Perfect for strugglers with C4 and further maths style integration.
