Marvelux Eco-Friendly Office Chair Mat: Enhanced Polymer for Maximum Durability

MC Patrick: My fourth time buying this or similar Marvelux models. In my experience they last about two years before inevitably cracking. They're a big enough improvement over cheap mats that I feel they're worth it.

Larger dimensions are better. They seem more durable long-term and the extra size means you can rotate which section gets the most use, as you would a mattress. Bigger mats ship machine-rolled which keeps the edges and corners nice . No issues with mats not immediately uncoiling and laying flat.

No idea how they hold up to rollerblade casters.

I've had great luck buying these used, even with Good/Acceptable ratings, through Amazon Warehouse and receiving never-unrolled mats just with damaged boxes.

Jeapa: After struggling with thinner, rolled chair mats for years, finally tried Marvelux and was happy with the ease of use and increased durability. Would buy again... even though more expensive than Kuyal or other brands.

Wendell Joyner: I've had my mat for nearly two years and it's just started cracking where my chair rolls over it the most. I'm 250# and I use a higher end gaming chair.

The mat is great at enabling my chair to roll smoothly over the carpet in my home office. The only issue from day one is that the mat does slide a bit over time but that's relatively minor since it's easy to slide it back into place.

The bigger disappointment is that due to the cracking, I now have to look at getting another mat. I'll probably look for something different that has the potential to last longer.

Kiri Wagstaff: I love the material and the function of this mat - it has great gripper teeth on the bottom so it doesn't slide on the carpet and a nicely textured top with just the right amount of traction. But unfortunately I had to return it due to its size. The mat I received was smaller than advertised (only 29.5" by 47.25", not 30" by 48"). This is a small difference, but just enough that I kept rolling off the end of the mat by accident (my chair has a wheelbase of 26"). I realized I was afraid of moving my chair at all and was rigidly holding it in position, which defeats the purpose of the wheels and the mat :) so I decided to return this mat and get the next size up (35" by 47", accurately described in this product: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B07RQ8PB3V/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1). Probably even if this mat had been 30" x 48" it would have been too narrow for me, but now I know. If you need a small mat and your chair is small enough, this would be a great choice!
