KrazyKoala: To all beard growers out there you need this in your beard product arsenal. I have bought this like 3 times and its been great every single time. It lathers really well and it rinses out real quick too. After your routine you will feel a huge difference in your beard. Softness you will want to rub your hands thru all day. If your beard is long you will find yourself stroking it because thats how soft this soap will leave your beard. It smells great too which is a plus. For all those guys who might think that this wont last long well your thinking wrong because it will last a long time. First don't make the mistake of taking the whole bar at your face because that way your just letting the whole bar wither like all soaps do when exposed to water. What I do is I will cut the soap into 6 equal squares with a kitchen knife and I use a square at a time in the shower. This way your not wasting the soap away sitting in a soap dish. I mean your only using it on your beard not your entire body so make it last. cadman: Great beard soap! I read some other reviews that said the scent is fairly strong and it is, but at the same time it isnt. What i mean is that the bathroom smells like the soap but it really doesn't stay in my beard after a rinse. After washing and styling my beard which includes oil and sometimes balm the scent of the soap really is very faint if it can even be smelled at all. It lathers up really well and does a superb job at cleaning the beard, softens the hair and as i previously stated leaves it with just a hint of the soaps scent. The bar lasts me around a month to an month and a half. I did buy a cheap travel soap case to keep it in since the "cardboard" container it came in sticks to the bar after several uses. I will be buying again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this product to anyone wanting a reasonably priced beard wash that is of great quality.

Bobby J.: I was hesitant to order this product due to a few reviews stating that the smell was way too overpowering. Took the jump and bought it anyway. The smell is not harsh but it is very herbal. The note that seems to take over is the patchouli essential oil. It smells very similar to eucalyptus oil which in my house hold we use different product containing such when the kids are sick. The fragrance honestly doesn't last all too long after wash which I like because I wouldn't want to smell like baby vapor rub.
The lather is great and the bar seems to last as long as it is kept in a dry area (at least out of constant direct water contact) when not in use.
For those with sensitive skin, like myself, be aware that since this soap seems to contain strong fragrant oils your skin might become irritated. l lather my beard, scrub like I would my scalp, and leave the soap in while I scrub my body. I noticed that if I leave the soap in for longer than a minute that I begin to feel a burning sensation. This has been since day one of trying this soap. In my case that is as far as I got with irritation. No rash, reddening of the skin, burns, etc, just a burning sensation if left too...

When I found out that it isn't the best idea to use regular soap on your beards, I was surprised to see that there were specific soaps and washes for beards!
