R. Robinson: It is recommended not to use spray oils in nonstick pans and my Ninja Foodi because the propellants will ruin the nonstick finish. This oil has no propellants and the smoke point of avocado oil is high which is perfect for the air crisper function of the Ninja Foodi.

Love Being HomeLove Being Home: I use my air fryer every day and while I don't always add oil to my foods, when I do, I wanted something that was healthy AND had a high smoke point. That's where avocado oil comes in!
Avocado oil has a smoke point of 460 degrees which is perfect for my air fryer. I have used this avocado oil about 10 times in my air fryer so far and it has never smoked or smelled bad. I've used it on chicken, potato wedges, french fries, various veggies (all in my air fryer), and even on my pan when frying eggs--and it does not leave any weird oil taste, nor does it taste strongly of avocados. The label is correct when it says "light taste".
I LOVE how this brand has created a spray oil without exposing it to carcinogens. The oil is in a bag inside of the spray bottle, and in the space between the bag and bottle is whatever aerosol they are using to create pressure. I feel SO much better knowing I am not spraying carcinogens into my food.
The spray action is POWERFUL and WIDE! It doesn't come out in a round diameter but rather an elongated spray that covers a large area evenly. I have not played around with the "squirt/stream" spray functions so I cannot comment on those. I...

Ed: Wonderful product to cook/stir fry with. It doesn't burn or smoke up the pan! I read this online and it definitely is true. It is rather expensive, though.
