Ed Mertens: It was just what I expected. One problem was that I pulled too hard on the zipper and it pulled right out because there were two zippers. I was able to use the remaining zipper to close up the bag. Be careful not to pull very hard when closing a fully packed load.

Ranae Baca: Used for a camping trip and let’s just say this is a super large and VERY STURDY!! We were in the mountains driving through curves and freeways and had family in front and back driving and they said it never moved and was impressed with it and wanted to buy one also, it held sooo much stuff and has a Velcro flap around the zipper that made me feel safe that if the zipper did break it had the very durable Velcro flap to make me feel safe. Used it a few times and let’s just say, it’s totally worth it especially if you are traveling or vacationing like I was !

ChrisChris: 5 stars with reservations. First, I've only used it on one 11 hour trip at up 80 mph with no rain. And second, for my particular roof rack it would get 4 stars. On with the review....

The bag is made of heavy material that feels like it will take some punishment. General intelligent punishment not holding a bed of nails punishment.
The straps are wide and heavy and the buckles feel as robust as ABS plastic typically feels.
The zipper is not a great zipper but it does zip. I feel it is a size smaller than it should be for the application but again, it zips.
My roof rack doesn't have side rails, it is flat. Because the straps are placed on the wall of the bag they had to go down to go around the rack then back up. Not a huge deal but it was putting a different stress on the joint than perhaps it was designed for. But even if the rack had rails the straps would still have to pull outward because the bag is no where near as wide as the rack.

I feel like it's a good bag and will last.
For disclosure, I did use 1 of my own ratchet straps not because I didn't think it would make it but because I didn't want to spend 11 hours worried about it. All the bag straps...
