User197: This is great and very compact for my Nano aquarium like I wanted, although I do still find myself having to go in with a razor blade to get some of the harder algae off of the glass. In addition I have found that this has put a number of scratches on my glass. I am not really sure how it keeps happening as I am rather careful about not getting the scrapper anywhere near the sand bed. Probably user error. Overall, pretty great for the price.

Amazon Customer: This will probably end up being plenty strong enough for its intended use, so I'm still giving it a good review, but the magnet is significantly weaker than the last one I bought for roughly the same price. I got this one because I liked the black color better than blue on the last one, but in hindsight I think the stronger magnet will do a better job with older and more stubborn algae.

The MAD RaTer: But it’s strength is MIGHTY!!!
I know. I couldn’t resist. But this little thing comes in this little ‘dollar-store’ lookin’ box but just... wait for it....waaait for it.....and wham!!!!
My little ‘Mini’ does EXACTLY what it was meant to do. I also like it because it isn’t obtrusive to the eye.
When I’m done with it, I just park it to tha’ side ‘back corner’ of tha’ tank.
My fish like to follow it while I’m cleanin’ as if to say ”ugh....you missed a spot!!”
But yeah...for the price—Awesome.
