It's not overly strong, but you're not buying a super large, super thick safe.
My father's got dementia and I'm his caretaker. There's just some things he doesn't need access to.
I keep two pistols, a box of ammo for each, on one shelf. Then there's the other shelf which has plenty of room for the paperwork and other important bits. It's a digital safe, but there's a spot you pop off and use a key if the battery ever dies out (it comes with two of those keys).
It's easy to set up whatever passcode you want. Easy to open, easy to use, pretty secure. Just don't expect it to really save your stuff from a serious threat.
ALSO, it's not fire proof. Buy a fire proof pouch, whatever size you need, for your valuable paperwork.

T love the electronic lock feature because it makes accessing your valuables so much faster and easier. It also comes with 2 keys which is agood backup to have if the electronic lock malfunctions for whatever reason. You're able to set your own digit combination and it's super easy to set that up. This safe is excellent quality, and a great value!

Deducted 1 star for receiving 2 batteries with dents in them. Used 4 from my supply.
Only the bottom has a thick piece of foam on it. Everything else is bare metal.
Was easy to set combination and master combination. Came with instructions books.
Saw one review that said had to bolt the safe to avoid heavy door causing it to tip forward. My safe is not secured and it does not tip forward.
